Keeping you and your skin healthy!

Undoubtedly you’ve seen it in your social media feed, talked about it at the office, and debated with friends…..

It is a hot topic of discussion and it’s everywhere in the news–Coronavirus, Covid19, the Rona…

It’s a pertinent issue that has everyone talking about the prevention of not only this virus, but preventing the spread of any virus, cold, or flu. And the answer to helping prevention is in our very own hands, quite literally!

It’s Handwashing.

Handwashing is the first line of defense to avoid getting sick and spreading germs!

The best advice, from doctors and mothers alike, is three simple words: “Wash your hands!”

I have an awesome TIP for you here (moms won’t want to miss this!) >>> Watch Tip!

You never know when or where you’ve come into contact with germs. Germs can live on surfaces like doorknobs, phones, and handrails and are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Hand washing is your best strategy to keep them from getting inside your body and putting your immune system on high alert during this dreaded cold & flu season.

However, frequent handwashing can deplete natural oils in your skin especially if you’re using inferior soaps – if they are made with too many synthetic ingredients. Keep your hands germ-free AND comfortable this season with our soaps — never contain toxic ingredients that can dry the skin. We use naturally-derived ingredients that are good for you and support healthy skin.

Start by placing a bottle of our foaming hand soap at each sink in your house.  It is available in a variety of fragrances and essential oils to please everyone in your home. Try setting out a fresh bottle of hand soap in the restroom at work to promote healthy handwashing throughout the office too!

After you’ve washed your hands, be sure to moisturize and seal with a lotion bar – made with beneficial ingredients like beeswax and safflower oil to help seal in the moisture and provide a smooth, soft protection barrier on the skin.

Keeping our hands clean is just common sense and a great healthy habit to have, not only for the sake of our hands but for our overall health as well.

Good health habits like covering your cough and washing your hands can help stop the spread of germs. It’s quick, it’s simple, and it can help us all from getting sick. Handwashing is a win for everyone… except the germs. 😉
